THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE PURCHASE

Attachment-1.jpeg

Things to consider before buying

1.) Before you shop with any company do your Research by Checking reviews.

2.) If it sounds too good to be true most likely it’s a scam.

3.) Make sure the company accepts PayPal.

4.) Measure your head to make sure you order the correct capsize.

5.) Be sure to read the company policies before making your purchase.

Budget is a key factor in figuring out which wig you should buy. One thing you must remember is good quality isn't cheap. Please do research before shopping, look at other customers that have bought before you are completely sold by an online picture. If you invest in one good wig it can last you for years to come. If something sounds too good to be true then most likely it is. Most scam companies will take pictures of stylist's work to Lure customers in. Don't fall victim to these companies, think of it as a wedding dress. You want to shop around before you say yes your dream wig.

For your first purchase, I recommend getting a customized unit or getting your first install by a stylist that specializes in wigs.

Consider Your Face Shape

While we're not ones to conform to rules, it's worth thinking about the shape of your face when investing in a new wig. Generally, certain cuts are more flattering than others for each face shape. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it can help you narrow down your options. Is it round, long, square, or heart-shaped? For instance, are there cuts that would show off your chiseled jawline? Be mindful that because something looks amazing on someone else doesn't mean you will like it on you nor will it look the same. We are all beautiful in our unique way. Take your favorite features into account!

Follow your first mind!

At the end of the day, go with your gut. Choosing a wig based on the cut or color you are drawn to is a great rule of thumb. After all, if you feel amazing in your new look, that confidence will radiate outward. Beauty shines from within!

Height and length matters.

While height may seem irrelevant, your wig length plays a major role in your wig choice. This is something most people don’t put into consideration even though it’s important.

When you are picking your wig length have your body structure and height into consideration. With these factors, you will know how long/short the hair is going to look on you.

Notice that, for wavy and curly hair, the length is usually measured when hair is stretched. So, if you are looking for say 16 inches long, you should buy 18 inches long hair.

3 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE PURCHASING A WIG:

QUESTION #1: HAVE YOU TESTED OUT THE LENGTH?

it’s important to know what to expect. Have you rocked the color/cut or have you ever had your hair a similar? If not, consider trying on a wig at a local beauty supply store before investing in a wig.

QUESTION #2: WHAT IS YOUR HAIR TEXTURE?

By now you know that texture plays a role in the maintenance and your overall look. So you likely realize that not all hair textures are suited for everyone.

QUESTION #3: WHAT’S YOUR FACE SHAPE?

Your hair texture isn’t the only important thing to keep in mind when considering a wig—your face shape also plays a role! See the face chart below.
